Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU Location: San Diego, CA Facility: Sharp HealthCare Weekly Gross: $3,380/36hrs Required Certifications: CPR and NRP Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience. Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a specialty area. Active California RN License required. Key Responsibilities:- Provide safe, individualized, and age-appropriate nursing care to patients and families. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify care needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Monitor patient conditions and evaluate responses to nursing interventions. Recognize and respond to complex and high-risk clinical situations. Educate patients' families and address their learning needs. Advocate for patients and families while promoting participation in care decisions. Maintain accurate patient documentation according to facility policies. Coordinate and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Delegate and assign responsibilities according to team members' scope of practice and competencies.
