Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 9 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary (List Format): - Unit: Medical-Surgical (MS) - Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift; block scheduling not guaranteed) - Floating to other units required - Scrub color: Navy blue - Patient population: Adult patients - Common patient diagnoses: Post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity (bariatric surgery) - Specialty equipment used: IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes - Required experience: Minimum 2 years recent MS and travel nurse experience - EMR experience: EPIC required - Certifications: Current AHA BLS required - Licenses: Active NY RN license (verified via NURSYS) and all active RN licenses - Must provide: Up-to-date resume, skills checklist for MS, matching driver’s license (local address), documented travel experience, and RTO at submission - Local candidates considered (within 75 miles; local rate applies) Med Ninjas Job ID 21869.
