Details Work in the Telemetry unit (PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown level of care) Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Weekend coverage required Floating required Involves cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response Utilizes Rapid Response and Code teams as needed Includes IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care Manages cardiac drips (no titration) Includes nasal cannula and oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted) Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required in-hand at time of application Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care telemetry experience required within the past 2 years EPIC EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history Two supervisor references required at time of application Prior travel nursing experience required Additional Information Follows isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible as a traveler No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO preferred per 13-week contract Hiring manager may or may not conduct an interview prior to placement American Traveler Job ID P-780525.
