ICU Travel Nurse Job Details Position: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Location: Westwood, New Jersey Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770–$1,870 Start Date: November 10, 2026 Contract End Date: February 9, 2027 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Hours: 36 hours per week Charting: Epic experience preferred Travel Nurses: First-time travelers are welcome to apply ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or a valid Compact license in hand at the time of submission At least 1.5 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Strong critical care assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to complete required core compliance items and laboratory requirements within 48 hours of contract signing Applicants must reside outside the 50-mile local radius requirement All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission ICU Travel Nurse Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure Manage arterial lines, central lines, continuous IV sedation, cardiac drips, and vasoactive medications Titrate medications safely according to clinical protocols and patient response Provide care for mechanically ventilated patients and manage BiPAP and CPAP therapy Interpret arterial blood gases and perform appropriate respiratory assessments Provide airway suctioning, including ETT and nasotracheal suctioning, as clinically indicated Apply appropriate isolation precautions and personal protective equipment practices Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, evidence-based patient outcomes Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record Apply now to join an ICU travel nursing team in Westwood, New Jersey, and bring your critical care expertise to this 13-week contract opportunity.
