Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and rotating holidays Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding any on-call time worked Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current ACLS certification Recent experience using Epic electronic medical records Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills Travel RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical Telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly recognize changes in patient condition Perform thorough nursing assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with clinical standards and hospital policies Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and continuity of care throughout each shift Apply now for this Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN travel contract in Needham, Massachusetts, near Boston.
