Details Operating Room unit with service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Weekend and call requirements are variable and will be discussed during interview Floating required within facility and scope of practice, including to Outpatient as needed Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel Required experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic surgical specialties Skills required in procedures including craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, total joint replacement, hysterectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and transplant procedures (kidney, liver, pancreas, intestinal) Travel experience required Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties including neuro, ortho, general surgery, GYN, and transplant cases No holiday RTO approved during blackout dates of 11/23-11/29 and 12/21-1/3 Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with all RTO finalized at time of submission RTO cannot be requested during orientation week Full compliance required prior to start date to avoid a two-week delay due to biweekly orientation scheduling Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Unit does not accept first-time travelers Previous Piedmont employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler Travelers previously cancelled or deemed unable to return to a Piedmont facility must complete one successful assignment elsewhere before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-732858.
