Start Date: 11/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Step Down unit. You will have the chance to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department (ED) to care for the same patient population. Shifts may vary based on operational needs, with a commitment to honor preferred shifts whenever possible. The facility reserves the right to rotate shifts if necessary. As a Step Down RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from higher levels of care.

Requirements: Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. Must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Travelers must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
