Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as an IMC Registered Nurse in Madison, WI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Thoracic Surgery unit. As an IMC RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown setting.

Key responsibilities include: Providing care for patients with complex medical needs in the IMC/IMU/PCU/Stepdown unit. Monitoring telemetry patients and responding to changes in their condition. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Educating patients and their families about their conditions and care plans.

Requirements: WI RN or compact RN license required. BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA only. Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required.

Experience with ventilators and transplant patients is necessary. Must be willing to work every other weekend and some holidays, including 12/24 and 12/25. Limited RTO availability during the weeks of 12/22 to 1/5.

Travelers will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. This position offers the flexibility of 4x12-hour shifts if desired. GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
