GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Montgomery, Alabama.

This contract position offers a unique opportunity for both first-time and experienced travelers. If you have at least 2 years of critical care experience, particularly in a Level II ER, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities: Provide care for patients with multi-system trauma, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and psychiatric conditions. Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 in the ER, 1:5 for Med-Surg holds, and 1:3 for ICU holds. Perform necessary skills including trach care, vent care, ICU drip care, chest tube management, and more.

Requirements: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI, NIHSS, TNCC.

Experience with Cerner or EPIC is preferred. Must have at least 2 years of experience in critical care (ICU, ER, MS hold) with the most recent year in a Level II ER.

Support on the Unit: CNA Ratio: 1:12 Charge nurse available Phlebotomy support available until 0300 IV/VAT Team present Scheduling and Orientation: Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule. Orientation for new travelers includes 24 hours of classroom time and 24 hours on the unit.

Shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 3p-3a. Please note that holiday scheduling may include one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy, and time off can be approved up to 7 days, excluding blackout dates.
