Start Date: 11/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital in Cleveland, OH, as a Step Down Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical care to patients transitioning from intensive care. As a Step Down RN, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in patient care will be crucial in this high-stakes setting.

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Step Down unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Requirements: 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. Current Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand. AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certification required. Must be willing to work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completion during orientation, with an acceptable score required.
