Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Sioux City, Iowa. The healthcare provider seeks a travel nurse to deliver and manage patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role requires telemetry proficiency, experience managing specified intravenous therapies, and current nursing and clinical certifications.

Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience; current Iowa or compact nursing license; active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; active National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; competency reading and measuring telemetry strips; experience with heparin, patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), epidurals, Cardizem, nitroglycerin, and amiodarone; valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) are preferred; certifications from the American Red Cross or the U.S. military are also accepted.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: The traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge to patient care planning and management. The traveler may float within the same discipline across local campuses. The traveler is required to work two of three winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Years Day. Orientation dates are 11/23/2026, 12/07/2026, and 12/21/2026. First-time travelers may be considered. Required submission materials include discipline-specific work history, a skills checklist, and a supervisory reference form completed within the last two years.
