This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in patient care while working in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing assessments. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Manage patient care assignments and ensure quality of care is maintained. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care. Participate in nursing rounds and contribute to the overall improvement of patient care.

Requirements: Active RN License in the state of West Virginia. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome. Ability to titrate drips, with exceptions (no cardiac drip titration).

Experience with common diagnoses such as pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, and alcohol withdrawal.

Additional Information: Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:5-7 on days, 1:6-8 on nights.

Charge Nurse: 2 on Day shift, who will take a patient assignment; 1 on night shift may not take an assignment. Patient Care Techs (PCTs) available with a ratio of 1:10-12 on average.

Shifts: RNs work 7 AM to 7 PM; no self-scheduling or block scheduling. Every other weekend and holiday rotation may be required. Floating to other units may occur for lower acuity patients.
