Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks Join our team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at a leading acute-care hospital in Overland Park, KS. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to provide exceptional care in our Emergency Department (ER). This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 in the Emergency Department. Provide emergency care to patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Administer IV therapy, including central line care and management. Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias. Perform respiratory interventions, including CPAP/BiPAP and care for ventilated patients. Conduct triage and isolation precautions. Manage medications, including continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors.

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.

Preferred: CPI and MAB certifications. Ability to float between departments and units as needed.

Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period. Must be willing to accommodate holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed. Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. No pending licenses accepted.
