Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients aged up to 25 years. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in epilepsy monitoring and the advanced management of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity PICU setting. Monitor and assess patient conditions, obtaining vital signs and performing necessary interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Assist in epilepsy monitoring and management of specialized care needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and care procedures.

Qualifications Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Current Ohio RN license or a compact state license. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA or American Red Cross.

Proficient in EKG interpretation and administration of inotropic medications. Knowledge of the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is preferred. Available to work rotating shifts, including nights and days, to meet operational needs.

Willingness to work every other holiday.
