Job Summary Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position for a healthcare professional providing specialized post-anesthesia care for surgical patients. The role supports patients recovering from a variety of procedures while maintaining a positive, team-oriented approach and safe patient care practices.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Provides post-anesthesia care for patients following endoscopy procedures, hernia repairs, myomectomies, hysterectomies, nephrectomies, joint repairs and replacements, lumbar fusions, and other general surgeries. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 or 1:2. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation is used. The role may include preoperative float assignments, overnight on-call coverage once every two weeks, and royal blue scrubs. A positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to assist others are essential.
