Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on a night shift of three 12-hour rotations, from 18:30 to 07:00. This role includes weekend rotations and requires the nurse to be on standby call as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU. Monitor and manage patient care, including occasional ICU patients. Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Perform patient assessments and document care provided.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg and PCU required. For first-time travelers, at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit is required. Current RN license is required.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required, must be from AHA only. Traveler must pass a telemetry exam prior to the start of the assignment. Scheduling The role typically comprises a schedule of three 12-hour shifts each week (18:30 - 07:00) with the possibility of adjusting to four 12-hour shifts if the candidate is willing to work more weekends.
