Job Details Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry RN Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Setting: Adult and geriatric medical-surgical telemetry unit Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts with day and night coverage Shifts Per Week: 3 Shift Duration: 12 hours Weekly Hours: 36 Contract Length: 16 weeks Start Date: 11/2/2026 Orientation: 72 hours Charting System: Epic Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Openings: 2 Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience in the specialty area Current acute care experience must be active and consistent within the last 12 months Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission Current BLS certification required Telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring experience required Epic charting experience required Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations Oncology experience preferred but not required Strong attention to infection prevention and fall prevention best practices Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leader Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for patients with med/surg and telemetry needs Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Support patients with common oncology-related diagnoses and complex medical needs Administer medications and treatments according to unit protocols and physician orders Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, infection prevention, and fall reduction Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient-centered acute care Float to other med/surg oncology units as needed Deliver compassionate care throughout the treatment journey, including supportive and end-of-life care Apply now to join this travel RN opportunity in Columbus, Ohio and bring your med/surg telemetry expertise to a rewarding healthcare team.
