Details Work in the GI Lab of a hospital setting Responsible for admitting patients, recovering patients in Phase II, and may assist in the procedure room Day shift with varying start times between 0730-0900 No weekend or holiday requirements No on-call requirements Floating possible to Highland Park, Skokie, and Evanston GI labs Requirements Active or temporary IL RN license required Current certifications: CPR and ACLS (American Heart preferred; American Red Cross accepted for BLS) Minimum 2 years of GI Lab experience required PACU, telemetry, and procedural recovery experience required Travel or PRN experience preferred New graduates will not be considered Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history Must pass EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration Updated skills checklist and 2 current professional references required for consideration Additional Information Admit and recover GI Lab patients, with possible involvement in the procedure room Orientation includes EKG testing, training modules, and Epic competency testing (approximately 6-8 hours) On-site EKG test required on Day 1 of orientation; must pass to continue the assignment Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Returning permanent or per diem staff must have a 12-month break in service to be considered as a traveler RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 8-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-778333.
