Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry. This 13-week travel assignment involves providing patient care through the nursing process while applying critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership. The role includes safe care delivery, delegation and supervision of assigned personnel, and collaboration across departments as needed.

Job Details Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., consisting of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes six weekend shifts within each six-week scheduling period.

Required Qualifications: Arizona nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; minimum of two years of experience in the specialty.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Cerner electronic medical record system.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Provides care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies and procedures. Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegates patient care priorities according to the education and experience of available staff. Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel. Patient assignment ratio is 6:1. Any scrub color is permitted.
