Details Burn ICU unit setting Patient ratio of 1:2 Unit responsibilities include wound care, pain management, line placement, and assisting with intubation Night shift schedule with option of 36 or 48 hours per week Every other weekend (EOW) required Floating required Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active RN license (State or Compact) required at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required in hand Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic charting experience preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to burn ICU patients, including wound care and pain management support Perform line placement and assist with intubation procedures as needed Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate Former permanent staff must have been separated from employment for at least one year before returning as a traveler No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted First-time travelers are not typically considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-729529.
