Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Apheresis for a travel nursing job in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Apheresis Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Clinical Nurse, Apheresis. Provides competent clinical nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings while coordinating care through the nursing process. The role includes patient assessment, education, complex care delivery, discharge planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and access of implanted ports, with Optia as the primary equipment.

Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: One year of nursing experience. Nursing diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited school of nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

Additional Information: Provides care to both adult and pediatric patients. Supports inpatient and outpatient care. Accesses implanted ports for the majority of patients and performs some peripheral access. Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required for the patient care plan. Applies patient assessment, education, prioritization, planning, and discharge-planning skills. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and participates in performance-improvement activities. Follows nursing standards, policies, procedures, communication systems, and safety practices.
