Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Portland. This role delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups while applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and independent judgment. The position also coordinates interdisciplinary care, supervises assigned nursing staff, and supports safe, compassionate patient outcomes.

Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA)-Basic Life Support (BLS) or ARC-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and acute care facility experience.

Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote patient health and safety; collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provide health education; participate in discharge planning; and appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.

Additional Information: Required vaccinations must be maintained as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.

Assignment Period: 11/09/2026 through 02/07/2027.
