In this role, you will care for a varied patient demographic across pre- and post-operative monitoring, acute medical treatments, and patient recovery. Requirements 1–2 years of recent acute care Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience Active Kansas State RN License or valid Compact / Multi-State RN License in good standing Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification Flexibility to float to related acute inpatient units as patient census and facility needs dictate Immediate competency in post-operative care, IV therapy, safe medication administration, wound management, and electronic clinical documentation Preferred Qualifications Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Certification Prior travel nursing contract experience in a community hospital setting Experience with modern acute care Electronic Medical Record (EMR) charting systems Level 1 Job ID McPherson-1. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
