Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN), Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The position provides care for critically ill surgical patients in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting, including trauma, transplant, vascular, gastrointestinal, orthopedic-spine, oncology, and general surgery patients. The role requires current surgical intensive care experience and the ability to care for trauma and post-surgical patients.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; strong current Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) experience, including at least 2 years of experience; at least 2 previous travel assignments; experience caring for trauma, vascular, gastrointestinal, orthopedic-neuro spine, and general surgery patients; experience with EPIC.

Preferred Qualifications: Critical care certification; trauma course.

Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Weekend coverage is required for 3 out of 6 weekends during each 6-week schedule. Holiday coverage may be required. Patient populations include trauma, transplant, vascular, gastrointestinal, orthopedic-spine, oncology, and general surgery.
