Details Work in a 45-bed all-private Progressive Care Unit split across East and West sides of the Fourth Floor Patient rooms are remotely monitored by a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department Each side of the unit includes a centrally located nursing station, conference room, clean and dirty storage, and a nourishment/medication room Patient ratio of 1:5 3x12-hour day shifts scheduled 7:00 AM-7:30 PM Every other weekend required, plus holidays as needed No on-call responsibilities Floating required to any Cone Health campus as needed Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience required EPIC EMR experience required Must pass a Pass/Fail compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac), and non-invasive airway management Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips; titration experience preferred Experience with insulin drip titration Current driver's license required for address verification Additional Information Provide telemetry-level nursing care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown/IMC/DOU setting Monitor and manage patients with cardiac and endocrine/metabolic conditions Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted Time off requests must be submitted with the application and will not be accepted post-submission First-time travelers are welcome to apply Previous Cone Health travel experience is not required American Traveler Job ID P-779684.
