Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Stockbridge, GA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed Adhere to holiday work expectations — if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work those holidays; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them Complete all orientation modules as assigned; module hours are non-billable and recorded via transcripts Maintain full compliance with onboarding requirements to ensure an on-time start Required Qualifications Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or during the assignment; no RTO permitted during orientation week (Monday–Sunday); maximum of 7 RTO days per contract All compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to the start date; core onboarding items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing Candidates who have previously worked at the facility in a permanent, per diem, or float pool capacity must have been away from all system facilities for a full year before applying as a traveler Local candidates are welcome and accepted Preferred Experience / Skills Prior travel nursing experience is a plus; first-time travelers are welcome Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and float within scope of practice Strong time management and compliance follow-through skills Why Join Us First-time travelers are encouraged to apply, making this an excellent opportunity to launch a travel nursing career in a supportive facility No on-call requirements, offering greater work-life balance during your assignment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 799283.
