Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Float Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our IMC/PCU/MS Float Pool team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, and Medical-Surgical units. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work across multiple units as needed.

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team. Float between Intermediate Care, Medical-Surgical, and other medical units as required.

Occasionally assist with patients in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and team members. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. Completion of at least one travel assignment is required. Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a score of at least 80%, including 100% on lethal rhythms.

Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Experience in PCU, DOU, IMC, Stepdown, Telemetry, ER Holding, and Cardiac Telemetry is preferred. Work Schedule This position will primarily involve night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts weekly. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required based on the needs of the facility.

Patient Ratios Intermediate Care: 1:4 ratio Medical-Surgical/Telemetry: 1:5-6 ratio Additional Information Employees are required to have the Flu vaccine.
