Job Summary and Qualifications Join our new 40-bed Cardiovascular Telemetry Services (CVTS) unit, designed to provide specialized cardiovascular care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. With a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5, nurses care for a diverse cardiac population while working alongside a highly engaged and supportive team. CVTS is an exciting new unit opening built on the strong foundation of our established Telemetry team.
The unit will be led by our experienced leadership team and staffed by skilled telemetry nurses who bring a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care. As CVTS launches and grows, nurses will have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of cardiovascular care while benefiting from the stability, expertise, and support of an experienced team. Patient Population CVTS nurses will care for patients with: Acute and chronic cardiac diagnoses, including heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and myocardial infarction.
Post-procedural patients from the Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. Patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Patients receiving non-titrated intravenous drips and ongoing medical management.
What You'll Do As a 12-hour bedside nurse, you will: Perform patient assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms. Administer medications and treatments, including non-titrated drips. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, case managers, and ancillary teams. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning. Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition. Participate in bedside handoff and interdisciplinary rounds to support continuity of care.

What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program. Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. Job Summary and Qualifications As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will assess, treat and care for patients with pulmonary disorders. You will be responsible for the clinical administration of all therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care modalities offered by the department.
What you will do in this role: You will operate and set up devices such as mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration, aerosol generators, and disposable respiratory care products while following specific parameters for treatment. You will provide emergency care, including artificial ventilation, external cardiac massage, and assist staff with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. You will collect and analyze arterial blood gases and be able to recognize normal, abnormal and critical values and able to provide appropriate corrective intervention. You will follow physician orders for treatment and evaluate requirements for treatment, such as treatment type, mode and duration of therapy, universal precautions, and medication dosage. You will monitor patient’s response to therapy by evaluation of vital signs, arterial blood gases, auscultation of breath sounds, pulse oximetry and end-tidal CO2 measurement. You will consult with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals for changes in patient’s status and work as part of the team to manage the patient’s plan of care.
What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program. 1-year previous Respiratory Therapy experience preferred Must possess a current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the Texas Medical Board to practice Respiratory Care in the State of Texas Must possess a current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) OR must possess a current credential as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) BEFORE July 1, 2002 (Grandfathered CRT). Job Summary and Qualifications As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects.
