Job Description Summary: Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. (Department has scheduled staff to operate 24/7/365). The RN accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Job Description Summary: Competently interpret the patient's history and baseline level of function and then to complete an assessment appropriate to the patient's area(s) of deficits. Based on problem(s) identified, the physical therapist establishes and carries out a plan of care to include patient treatment and reassessment, patient/family instruction, discharge planning, documentation in the medical record and providers and other medical staff. Oversees and supervises provision of care by physical therapist assistants.

Responsibilities And Duties: Direct Patient Care 90-100% Evaluates and treats patients: After provider referral, evaluates patient physical abilities and functional status, develops and implements plan of care based on evaluation findings and appropriate treatment techniques and initiates patient treatment. Carries out plan of care with reassessment and changes to plan of care as appropriate. Responsible for maintaining/meeting the productivity expectations of their department. Oversees and supervises provision of care by physical therapist assistants. Plans and helps coordinate discharge plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team: Instructs patient and care giver/family. Recommends DME required for discharge. Provides information to providers, nurses, case managers, social workers, and other team members. Involved in the multidisciplinary patient plan of care and discharge readiness plan. Documents evaluation, plan of care, progress toward goals, discharge plan/continuity of care for multidisciplinary team, and other involved medical and insurance parties. Indirect Patient Care 1-10% Department Functions: Supervises patient assignments and duties of the PTAs and rehabilitation tech(s). Education/Mentoring: Takes an active role in orienting new staff members. Serves as clinical instructor for affiliating PT and PTA students. OhioHealth is hiring a part-time, day shift procedural radiologic technologist at Dublin Methodist Hospital in the Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology.

The hours for this position are two 10-hour shifts/week with a required on-call rotation. This position requires ARRT registry and Ohio Radiologic License. The Cath Lab/IR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating.

The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique. For Vascular IR procedures, the Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.

Responsibilities And Duties: 85% Radiologic technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventionalist in specific area as described above in summary for each area. 10% Greets patients upon arrival to department. Checks chart for required data (i.e., informed consent). Reports absences or abnormalities to RN/physician. Explains procedures, gives instructions, and answers patients' questions. Participates in room turnover and transporting of patients. (5%) Assists Radiation Safety officer in QA of labs and radiation protective apparel on regular basis. Performs tasks using radiation safety principles; checks lead aprons for tears; reports findings and removes inadequate gear from service; maintains accurate records or work with Radiology department to maintain records.
