Occupational Health Nurse 3-Month Temporary Contract Location: Southampton Clinic Based Contract: 3 months temporary Hours: Ideally full time Engagement: PAYE or Personal Limited Company Salary/Rate: Negotiable We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to support an established OH team in Southampton on a temporary 3-month contract . The primary focus of this role will be to review and check health surveillance completed by the Occupational Health Technicians , ensuring that results have been processed correctly and that any necessary follow-up or escalation is identified. This is therefore an ideal contract for an experienced OH Nurse with a strong background in health surveillance who is confident reviewing and interpreting health surveillance results.
The entire checking and processing function is managed through the organisation's Occupational Health software system , so excellent IT skills are essential. You will need to be extremely comfortable working electronically and able to quickly familiarise yourself with the system.
We are looking for someone who: Is an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Has strong and recent health surveillance experience Is confident reviewing and checking health surveillance undertaken by OH Technicians Has excellent IT skills and is comfortable working extensively with OH software systems Has excellent attention to detail and can work accurately and efficiently Can quickly get up to speed and provide additional support to the team for the duration of the contract The position is ideally full time and will be based at the Southampton clinic. This is a 3-month temporary requirement and can be offered on either a PAYE basis or via a Personal Limited Company . Salary/rate is negotiable depending on experience and method of engagement. Practice or Community Nursing or Functional Assessor experience considered. A confident communicator, able to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively. A professional, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for supporting employee health and wellbeing.
