Note - This is an overnight position/schedule, 2030-0700 Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Demonstrate understanding of: human anatomy and physiology; pathology; pharmacology; medical terminology; MR technique; patient positioning for MR Prepare patients for procedures and take care of patient needs during examinations or procedures Perform venipuncture, manage intravenous access, and administer medications as prescribed Select appropriate pulse sequences with consideration of established protocols and other factors that influence data acquisition parameters Evaluate medical images for quality and to ensure patient identification Responsible for adherence to ACR MR safety guidelines such as restricting area access, screening patients and others for MR access, and observing and controlling the MR areas Possess MR safety knowledge and research implanted devices - Apply principles of MR safety to minimize risk to patients, self and others Identify and respond to emergency situations Perform ongoing quality assurance and educational activities as assigned Educate and monitor students and other health care providers Additional duties as assigned Other duties may be assigned as required. The sonographer is able to identify and evaluate the appropriate anatomical and physiological consequences that would be consistent with disease processes.
They need to be able to adapt the routine protocol to a wide range of patients and disease-state variability, making each exam individual and unique. The sonographer manages the initiation of critical value notification to expedite optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Performs basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound services for adult patients such as transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress procedures, used to diagnose and assess cardiac abnormalities. General duties include preparing equipment, prepping patients and explaining procedures, reading the images, report findings, analyzing patient clinical history in order to identify the purpose of the examination, and adapting protocols to make each exam unique and individual to the patient and procedure. Acts as an educational resource to other staff, physicians, students, and fellows regarding equipment, techniques, and procedures to optimize patient care.
Seeks and develops new measures to improve the quality of patient care as new technology evolves. Actively participating in meetings, quality assurance, and IAC activities as delegated by the medical and/or technical director. Available for occasional on-call status under Cardiologist supervision, weekend coverage, and later shifts is mandatory Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to function independently.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Assists the Supervisor and leadership with oversight of the imaging and personnel in CT. Responsible for the overall troubleshooting, evaluation and performance of all equipment in the division. Responsible for ensuring that all division activity is performed in an efficient, organized and safe manner.
Responsible for the preparation of all reports and documentation to support the division including budgets, purchasing, staffing, performance improvement, research, Radimetrics/dose monitoring, etc. Assists divisional leadership with divisional paperwork as assigned. Responsible for completion of mandatory educational assignments as provided by divisional leadership.
Assist all staff in self-development and improvement and provide opportunities for them to become engaged in new procedures, frontline leadership, or personal development. Plan, develop and monitor quality initiatives to help improve patient outcomes, cost reduction or productivity measures. Work with Radiology leadership and Department SR Director as requested to support various teams, committees and performance improvement activities.
Performs direct patient care as required to meet patient care needs. Must be able to step in and perform all procedures independently without assistance. Works assigned shift and in addition to regular weekly duty hours and responsibilities, Obtains properly completed examination consultation requests, patient's clinical history, previous diagnosis reports, images and/or records for the radiologist to use for interpretation and diagnostic purposes; checks examination preparation, chart orders; assists the divisional leadership in authorizing and rescheduling of on-call or emergency patients; reports organizational problems to the divisional leadership.
Responsible for coordination of all exams in the CT division and at the end of the day, checks the procedure queue to ensure all procedures have been tracked to End Procedure. Oversees the Quality Control Program. All QC must be met according to the QC schedule that is posted.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and call vendors for service repair when necessary. Maintain the Daily workload schedule as well as the Callback schedule. Assists with preparation of the employee schedule one month in advance.
Must have an excellent working knowledge of contrast reactions and response and be available to patient needs. Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution, patient image archiving, retrieval and network data transfer and tracking of outside images. Interacts with physicians/providers and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient.
Provides instruction to technology students, medical students and residents about exams and equipment when appropriate; does not allow students to assume tasks beyond their ability; coordinates with ancillary personnel such as transporters. Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. Position Title Certified Diabetes Educator Days - Full Time Medical Pavilion Position Summary / Career Interest: The Diabetes Educator educates patients with diabetes on meal planning and general diabetes self-management education. They participate in the development and implementation of new/current nutrition and education programs. The Diabetes Educator assists in maintaining ADA accreditation and continuous quality improvement projects.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Be available in clinic most days of the week for additional one-on-one teaching as needed (e.g., instruction on insulin pen use, glucometers, insulin pump) Conduct DSME and/or nutrition clinics 4 days per week Coordinate, manage, and teach group diabetes education class Coordinate/implement other external events as appropriate Create and implement an annual Diabetes Day event Create and implement CQI projects (a requirement of ADA recognition) Assist the Education Coordinator with maintaining ADA recognition Help with coordination and teaching of other classes (e.g., Managing Diabetes and Pump Preview) Helps maintain ADA recognition and keep up to date Work closely with the administrative staff on scheduling and other matters Work with vendors for samples and updates Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. Skills and duties may vary dependent upon your department or unit. Other duties may be assigned as required. Required Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in an appropriate field (e.g., Nursing, Dietetics-Nutrition, or a biological science) from an accredited college or university.
High School Graduate 2 or more years of clinical experience in diabetes and/or nutrition education. Preferred Education and Experience Master's Degree in an appropriate field (e.g., Nursing, Dietetics-Nutrition, or a biological science) from an accredited college or university. 2 or more years of clinical experience in an ADA or AADE accredited program.
Required Licensure and Certification CDE certification (NCBDE) required within 12 months of hire. Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing in state of practice. OR Registered Dietitian (RD) - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in state of practice.

Responsibilities: Responsible for decontamination, correct assembly and sterile processing of all instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory/specialty clinics. Demonstrates an understanding of procedures required for decontamination and terminal sterilization of instrumentation while instituting protective measures. Practices all infection control standards regarding proper cleaning and sterilization of all instrumentation. Understands and follows defined sterilization practices for all instrumentation to assure proper and approved sterilization. Assists in the facilitation of the OR schedule by proper prioritizing of instrument set needs, including ancillary departments. Track instrument sets and pouches on the proper sterilization record.
Qualifications: Job Requirements: High school or equivalent education. Preferred Job Requirements Completion of a Sterile Processing training program Certified Sterile Processing Tech Knowledge of instrumentation, sterilization methods, and infection control practices.
