The Faculty of Dentistry comprises three Departments (Oral Rehabilitation, Oral Diagnostic and Surgical, and Oral Sciences), as well as the Sir John Walsh Research Institute.

Dunedin offers an outstanding quality of life, combining the vibrancy of a university city with the warmth of a close-knit community. The region provides exceptional schooling and educational opportunities, making it an ideal place for families.

Dunedin is perfectly placed for outdoor pursuits, with world-class mountain bike trails, nearby ski fields, and excellent surfing. Just a few hours from Queenstown - the adventure capital of New Zealand - it also offers easy access to some of the country’s most stunning natural landscapes.

Dunedin’s wildlife is world-renowned, home to the royal albatross, seals, penguins, and an array of native birds.

‘The outdoors and wildlife was one of our biggest pulls to this area as a family coming from the UK - also the schools are fantastic!’ H. Smith, Senior Professional Practice Fellow.
