Your day will include personal care, supporting mobility, helping with equipment like hoists and CPAP , and generally making sure the day runs smoothly. The client values professionalism, good hygiene and a tidy appearance – carers change into clean clothes on arrival and wear indoor shoes in the house. This is a role where clear boundaries, a positive attitude and a respectful approach are really important. Where possible, a short introduction and shadowing shift may be offered before starting to help you settle in and get familiar with the routine.
